Ski School Poiana Brasov – R&J founded in 2007 with the ski instructors experience since 1991 , trainer of ski instructors, with one aim – to offer professional, friendly ski and snowboard lessons to English speaking skiers in Romania.
As the team has grown in size and diversity over the years and , we have stayed focused on offering the same excellent service to our customers, whilst maintaining a strong, family feel amongst the instructors and office team.

Our ski school caters for all ages and ability levels; our services include private ski lessons, children’s ski school, adult group lessons and snowboard lessons.
Where it all began
The school R&J was started in Poiana Brasov in 2007 by Roxana and Janin Trifan, both was a successful ski instructor in Poiana Brasov up to that point.
R&J was an immediate success, the founding team are all passionate, highly experienced and qualified instructors, so they were able to deliver brilliant lessons to cater to a growing English speaking customer base.
The team grew…
By 2019, the team had grown to around 25 ski instructors. The team were renowned for being close, made up of friends and family, they worked hard to spread their passion for skiing amongst new skiers. Janin and Roxana nurtured a ‘family feel’ to the way they ran the business and managed the team. Focusing on taking care of their instructors, who in turn then took care of their customers on the slopes – this are the core R&J today.
